SYoS Workshop no 4

The 4th workshop will deal with the question of how we envision an infrastructure / organizational structure for scientometric data and analyses in Switzerland in the future. The workshop will begin with lightning talks, in which our expert speakers introduce the scientometric infrastructure in their countries. We will hear from Prof Bart Thijs (KU Leuven, Belgium), Prof Birger Larsen (Aalborg University, Denmark) and Wenceslao Arroyo Machado (University of Granada, Spain). Next, we analyse and discuss various possible scenarios for Switzerland. The aim is to arrive at a practical and precise proposal on the best scientometric infrastructure / organizational structure for Switzerland.
